Wandering around field of Mallorca, Lina had a special moment capturing the beauty of Almond Blossoms, that are the sign of coldest days on the island and the harbingers of spring. She really understood the work of Van Gogh and felt his urge to capture beautiful flowers on canvas.
“Flowering trees were special to Van Gogh. They represented awakening and hope. He enjoyed them aesthetically and found joy in painting flowering trees”.
Almond blossom symbolises bravery and courage, purity, hope and love. From Greek mythology, the almond blossom is a symbol of eternal true love, unconquerable by death.
