Born in a mountain village, Joy was said to have been “kissed by the sunrise,” her fiery red hair marking her as a child of vitality. From a young age, she was enchanted by the hummingbirds that darted among the wildflowers. Unlike others, she claimed she could hear their songs as tiny heartbeats and whispers that no one else could perceive.
As she grew, she discovered that the birds responded to her presence, guiding her toward hidden paths and forgotten clearings in the forest. The villagers came to see her as a symbol of joy and renewal, much like the hummingbird itself. Yet Joy carried her gift with a quiet burden: while hummingbirds lived vibrantly, their lives were fleeting, reminding her of how precious every heartbeat is.
Now, she wanders beyond her home, wearing feather-like patterns and carrying the spirit of the hummingbird in her steps, swift and bright. Wherever she goes, she brings bursts of colour and hope, reminding others that life’s beauty is found in the fleeting, shimmering moments.
